About Thailand is based on a database of English-language websites about, well indeed, Thailand.
There are about 130 subcategories, and at present we list more than 4,500 websites. All sites are viewed by our editors before being listed. Sites submitted to this website, in most cases, will also be included in some of the other websites we administer.
If you are the webmaster of an English-language about Thailand, you can contact us. We include most sites submitted, unless they do not conform to certain criteria :
1. Only sites in English (or bilangual English-Thai) are considered.
2. Only Thailand-related sites. We get lots of requests, but this is a strict rule we adhere to.
3. Pornography, illegal activities, disrespectful websites have no chance to be included.
4. Your request should include a DESCRIPTION of the site (up to 350 characters) Actually you can also give us a list of keywords. Use only standard English, no all capitals, exclamations etc. We will feel free to edit your description.
5. E-mails should not include statements such as : Link exchange is important for good search engine ranking etc. We are somewhat allergic to statements like this.
6. If you link to us, let us know, and we will add you also on our links page, if you provide us with a logo (max. width about 180 pixels, max. height about 140 pixels) Your link to us should be placed well visible though and easily reachable. We do not want to be listed on long link pages.
